Verizon will soon be launching the HTC Touch Diamond!
Everything’s what you expect from the HTC Touch Diamond at this point – TouchFLO 3D interface, HSPA/Edge/Wi-Fi, Windows Media Player, 3.2 MP camera with flash, auto focus and video, built-in GPS, weighs 110 grams, 2.8 inch (640 x 480) VGA display, runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro – but there’s been a curious drop in the memory from 256mb to 128mb.
I am curious to see how well stylus based phones can do in the market right now. What do you think – do stylus phones stand a chance?

Oooh — the upcoming HTC Touch Diamond2 has just gone through the FCC – well, the European version of it, at least, which is slated for Q2 this year. The US version for AT&T is apparently in the works but we don’t know anything more about it yet. Hopefully sooner than later!

Purely touchscreen devices such as the Touch Diamond and the new Touch Diamond2 rely solely on a good onscreen keyboard.
The Touch Diamond’s on screen keyboard (available in T9, SureType, and QWERTY) is quite usable as an alternative to a hardware keyboard. Well, it’s no surprise that the new Touch Diamond2’s on screen keyboard has been even more improved over the native WinMo built in onscreen keyboard! Check out the new images of the HTC Touch Diamond2’s keyboard after the jump – elongated space bar, smaller number function key, d-pad button inclusion. Sweet!
