Another awesome phone with Qualcomm’s super-mega-fast Snapdragon CPU inside! I’m very excited for this phone.
Looks like it’ll be launching in September 2009 — but where? And on what carrier? Your guess is as good as mine right now, but we’ll keep you informed.
The Acer F1 differs from the first Snapdragon phone we told you about, the TG01 (Toshiba’s ultra-thin smartphone), in that it will only run at 800MHz (not 1000MHz) but it does pack ATI graphics, Acer Suite 2.0 UI (a lot like HTC’s TouchFLO 3D UI), and will run you a rumoured €560 (about $758US).

This new WinMo phone is the first handheld device to run the new Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and it runs it at an impressive 1 GHz!
The Toshiba TG01 boasts powerful multimedia performance and gaming potential but what’s really awesome? Well, for one thing it’s only 9.9mm thick! It’s got a 4.1 inch, 800 x 480 LED backlit display that uses resistive rather than capacitive touch technology – in other words, making it completely useful for software that uses handwriting recognition.
