This beefed up, ready-to-fight QiGi AK007, found courtesy of Engadget China, is a super armored smartphone available on the consumer market… which is quite rare.

It runs a 624MHz core processor, WinMo 6.1, has 256MB of ROM, 128MB of RAM, GPS, a fairly-standard 2MP camera, and either CDMA or GSM / EDGE radios. Nothing too fancy, but good enough for those who need their phone to be able to survive just about anything.

Maybe I should invest in one…
