Well hello. What’s this ? A HTC Mozart support page on the Orange website? Well, I guess that’s confirmation that the network will be getting this particular device. We knew already that Orange are a “Key Partner” in all this but this is the first time that the Mozart has been specifically linked with Orange.
Click on to view the support pages or have a gander at the specs from our earlier story. It looks like the Mozart has a HTC Legend-style battery and SIM-card compartment.. it’s just a pity there’s no microSD card in there :(

Orange Shop
Orange UK has just announced the availability of a new data bundle that offers 500MB of data for £4.25 (€4.75) per month. This new plan will replace Orange UK’s current 10MB (£5.00) and 250MB(£6.38).
The new 500MB data bundle will be available to “pay monthly business customers with new or existing voice packages”.
According to Orange, 500MB of data allows you to view up to 25,000 average web pages, send/receive up to 175,000 emails or spend 192 hours chatting via IM clients. Going over the alloted 500MB/month will cost you £0.80.

There’s a strange story coming out of the British mobile scene about Orange UK’s sales people talking their customers out of upgrading to the HTC Touch HD of which they have obtained exclusive rights to in the British market.
Apparently there have been a slew of returns and complaints about this exclusive phone. A source over at msmobiles says:
Just tried to upgrade to the Touch HD and had the operator telling me about the high rate of returns. Apparently poor battery life, and that horrendous camera are putting people off them. The operator tried her hardest to put me off until I pointed out just how many Windows Mobile powered phones I have had (Windows Mobile 2002 and on). So not just returns but actively trying to encourage customers to not buy the orange UK exclusive.
Anyone here experiencing any problems?
What has Orange UK done to this phone? Or is the device flawed right from the gate?
