Ooh an unboxing! Always exciting. Even more exciting is the fact that its a video of the unboxing of the Sprint (CDMA radio) version of the Palm Treo Pro. This device hasn’t been available in North America until now.
The Palm Treo Pro from Sprint comes loaded up with the newest version of Windows Mobile 6.1 which features the brand new Internet Explorer Mobile.

Engadget was lucky enough to get their hands on a Samsung SCH-M830 — Samsung’s current WIMAX and HSDPA device. It’s no HTC MAX 4G, but it’s certainly flashy enough with its 3.3 inch screen and cool user interface (powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, of course).
It’s a safe bet that it’ll be living exclusively in Korea for a while but we’re happy to see more and more WIMAX phones being made — come on, North America, step up!

ZTE (a mobile company out of China) has just announced its plans to demo 10 new smartphones at next week’s MWC 2009 in Barcelona.
Rumour has it that at least one of these new smartphones (the VF 1231) will be running Windows Mobile. The rest of the devices are said to be from entry-level to high-end and will run either Windows Mobile or Linux platforms.
No more is currently known about these phones including whether or not they’ll be available in North America but ZTE has, in the past, made it clear that they’d like to gain some traction in the U.S. market.
