How-to: Get or give remote support for Windows Mobile

Now this is cool! BOMGAR helps you virtualize your IT helpdesk with Windows Mobile remote control software!

A virtualized IT helpdesk enables you to achieve greater support staff utilization and provide assistance to all of your end users – wherever they are from wherever you are. Support virtualization is especially important for your mobile workers, a group that often gets left out in the cold in a traditional remote support environment. Your mobile workforce contains some of your most productive employees. Whether they’re high-octane, front line sales reps or travelling executives, your people need your support when they’re on the road. That’s why Bomgar™ enables you to gain remote desktop control of Windows Mobile™ systems from Windows, Mac, or Linux without any pre-installed software client.

Microsoft Live Mesh to hit Windows Mobile later this week

Looks like Microsoft is preparing to launch Live Mesh for Windows Mobile by the end of the week.

Live Mesh allows you to sync your files with your PC/Notebook presently, and soon you’ll be able to sync your WinMo device with your Mac as well. It allows you to access files from the web or any device and easily share them with others. It also works to allow remote desktop use between PC/laptops as well.

Sounds pretty rad. Here’s hoping it works as promised!
