The pre-alpha release of Mozilla’s much awaited ‘Fennec‘ is finally here!
Though it is targeted at HTC Touch Pro users, it just means that the graphics might look odd on a non-VGA screen and the text entry will be impossible without a hard keyboard.
Since it’s a pre-alpha release, you won’t get updates automatically and extensions will be non existent for the time being, but keep your eyes on WindowsMobile Cool and the official Mozilla blog for the latest builds and news.

There’s much buzz in the air this week about Fennec alpha – Mozilla’s version of Firefox for mobile. Now, before you get to excited (like I did) this alpha release was made to be used on the N800 or the N810 Internet Tablet from Nokia. But good news: You can check it out from the comfort of your Windows, OS X, or Linux based computers and patiently await the beta release which will hopefully be available for your handset soon!
Check out the official release notes here.
