Papa John's reports $1 million dollars in mobile pizza orders

Late last year, Papa John’s pizza restaurant launched a mobile pizza-ordering service which allows customers to order pizzas via SMS text message, widgets, or online. Reportedly, they have already seen $1 million dollars in revenue from these endeavors – that’s impressive!

Recently, Papa John’s mobile ordering has become so popular that they have launched a mobile-optimized size from which to order. Richard Wise, vice president of operations at wiseOutlook, the company that developed Papa John’s mobile ordering service, had this to say:

As these devices are getting more powerful browsers, we’re able to take advantage and offer upgraded features and better designs.

Watch out for Papa John’s planned mobile advertising push initiative soon — there might be some great deals on yummy, yummy pizza!

Need a reason to use Opera Mobile 9.5? Ad blocking!

Opera Mobile 9.5 for Windows Mobile has an advertisement blocker! Well, it’s not native to the mobile version — but it’s easily attainable! The desktop version of Opera features an ad-blocking file (urlfilter.ini) and, as wmpoweruser.com points out, this file works just as well when put into your Opera Mobile 9.5 file folder (\windows\opera\) on your WinMo device!

Grab a copy of the urlfilter.ini file right here and try it now!

Certainly Opera Mini has been a huge success for Opera. Opera’s more beefed up (and costly) Opera Mobile 9.5, one of our top 5 browsers for Windows Mobile picks, will be releasing a new version tomorrow which will feature YouTube support!
