G-Scroll is a software application that lets you use the capacitive portion of your Fuze (Diamond, Touch Pro) to navigate and launch programs from just the capacitive portion. It adds a level of functionality to the dpad of your Fuze (Diamond, Touch Pro) that’s really worthwhile. Check out the review after the jump for more information!
Rhomobile has announced details around the ‘Mobile Application Development Challenge’ they are hosting, including an extension on the deadline. The contest promotes Rhomobile’s Rhodes framework, which allows developers to write once to create native apps for all leading smartphones including iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android, and features a $10,000 grand prize.
With the year drawing to a close, it’s time to pull out the best that WindowsMobile Cool had to offer our readers this year in the way of comprehensive guides on everything from personalizing your WinMo phone to using your phone as a wireless modem.
Let’s take a look at WindowsMobile Cool’s most popular how-to guides of 2008:
Skyfire has officially announced the release of the .85 version of its popular mobile browser with some major changes!
What’s up their sleeves this time?
• New .85 version expands Skyfire’s reach to the UK, including additional servers in the UK
• .85 is the first version of Skyfire to support VGA phones such as the HTC Touch
• Skyfire no longer requires users to register to download or use it
• For the first time, both Symbian and WinMo versions of Skyfire have parity in features
I love Skyfire, personally. If you haven’t checked it out I recommend grabbing yourself a copy of .85 now and giving it a try – you’ll be impressed with the performance and user interface. Very sharp looking!
Pocketnow has posted the above video of their software tour of the AT&T Fuze. According to them, the Fuze comes with a lot of extra trial-ware games and doesn’t come with Windows Live or Windows Live Messenger. Hrmm. That’s no good! But it does save a bit of grace, apparently, in that it includes an SMS based IM client that does log in to AIM, Y!, and MSN.
Be sure to check out the above video for the full run down of the AT&T Fuze’s software!

WMExperts have put the Palm Treo Pro up against the AT&T Fuze to see who comes out the champion and it looks like the AT&T Fuze won by the mere skin of its teeth, as the saying goes.
So, how do these two devices measure up to each other?
Two awesome hacks from XDA-Developers in one day! Woo hoo!
This time one that allows you to ‘enable’ (read: re-enable) Internet Sharing on your HTC Touch Diamond, Sprint Touch Pro, AT&T Fuze (Touch Pro) and the Samsung Epix!
Now, this is a registry key edit so use at your own risk as we’re never 100% sure of how these things will turn out sometimes.. but if you’re desperate for Internet Sharing (or brave and up for a challenge) try out this trick…
It appears that the AT&T Fuze (HTC Touch Pro) will finally see the light of day on Tuesday, November 11th. This very – very - sexy phone will be a big hit, there’s no doubt about it. And at $299.99 it’ll sell like hotcakes. Mmm hotcakes with TouchFLO 3D.
Now, check out these other leaked documents containing all you could ever want in Fuze/Touch Pro accessories as well as some more info on the sweet device itself!
Rumour has it that the AT&T Fuze (that’s the AT&T version of the Touch Pro) will start shipping out to stores some time in the next two weeks. BGR is saying that it’s targeted for a release near Black Friday.
The Fuze is said to be going for $349.99 with a 2-year contract and data plan.
