Have dice will travel? With Game-Dice they are never more than a click away. Dice for any game. Standard dice for board games. Polyhedral dice for role playing games (Dungeons and Dragons (RPG’s) or serious war gaming.
I’m sure plenty of you are familiar with Text Twist. This game brings me back to my university days — I used to pass time between classes playing this game at internet stations. If I’d have had it on my phone then I would have never paid attention in class!
You’re given a scrambled six letter word, and you have to see how many three, four, five or six letter words you can make in a limited time! If you manage to get one (or more) six letter words by the end of the level, you get to play again! You score points by getting words – longer words give you more points, and finishing all of the possible words in a level gives you bonus points.
Are you using Qik on your Windows Mobile phone? You should be! It’s super cool. And now it’s updated too!
Version 0.2.24 is the newest installment from Qik. It’ll let you send live video messages to your contacts. And what’s better? You can share videos right from your handset to Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter!
Ever wish your WinMo phone sounded more like a tricorder? I know I have!
Well now, it’s possible… for some strange reason.
FlaxBox is a funny Windows Mobile application that brings eight super weird sounds to your phone. It features sounds like phasers, machine guns and crazy explosions.
The application lets you play these sounds whenever you’d like. I highly recommend doing so during important meetings, at funerals and weddings, and of course, on crowded buses. Think about all the leg room that a loud sound effect fart could get you!
Check out the video above and then be sure to download the freeware application!
Still searching for a decent Facebook application for your WinMo phone? Well, in case you’ve missed this, some developers at XDA have recently supplied a rather awesome Facebook app.
Now, apparently this app is actually made by Microsoft themselves and has been stripped from the yet-to-be-released version of Windows Mobile - 6.5 (Build 21169). That being said, this app is in fact a pre-release version with ‘many known bugs’ (though, I couldn’t personally tell you what those bugs are as I’ve not actually run in to any myself, but see the list of known problems after the jump). I can tell you, I’ve been using it for a bit now and I really love it!
Click here for an overview and screenshots of this Facebook app from XDA!

Check out the great images after the jump for the rest of the leaked devices that you can start looking forward to!

We all knew it would happen eventually – on January 22nd a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM for the HTC Fuze/Touch Pro was posted over at XDA Developers. Well, surprise surprise – XDA has received a legal complaint from Microsoft! XDA has, of course, pulled all the links for the cooked ROM as well as any other ROMs that are based on the yet-to-be-released operating system.
The e-mails sent to XDA Developers from Microsoft identify the site as ‘distributing unlicensed material and state’,
We hereby give notice of these activities to you and request that you take expeditious action to remove or disable access to the material described above, and thereby prevent the illegal reproduction and distribution of this copyright work(s) via your company’s network.

Have you been on the edge of your seat waiting for a good Windows Mobile Facebook app? Well wait no more – it’s here… sort of!
It seems the Facebook app that is intended to be released with the new Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade has been extracted from the firmware and is now available for use with Windows Mobile 6.1 devices!
So as always with these kinds of applications, the download comes from the XDA-Developers forum. And, though everything should be just fine with this download, you are downloading at your own risk. That being said, enjoy!

Love the Omnia? Well, here comes another treat from Samsung - the Acme i8910. Though it’s not entirely clear right now whether it will run Windows Mobile, all signs point to ‘yes’!
The Acme i8910 packs the usuals – GPS, WiFi, 8 or 16GB of internal memory, a 3.5mm headphone jack and – drumroll please – a rockin’ 8MP camera… that can record HD video!
Just to prove Gil Bouhnick wrong, this story will be seen on another mobile blog — this one!
Bouhnick has made the keen (and hilarious) observation that the above WinMo case looks remarkably like Magneto’s helmet. Don’t you think?
On that note, I challenge YOU, fair readers. We want more images like this! Show me what you creative types have got! Found a headset that looks like Geordi La Forge’s visor? Show me! Heck, think spots on your cat look remarkably like a Palm Treo Pro? Prove it!

As a musician and music fan, I can definitely see myself using the new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Just check out the picture… how sleek is that? We got our first glimpse at this phone during The Dark Knight movie – who wouldn’t love a phone that they can associate to Batman? Cool!
This device is Nokia’s first ever touchscreen device – a 3.2″ one, at that. Check out some of its other awesome specs right here.

Facebook on Windows Mobile
Pocketnow has posted a video showing three different ways to use Facebook on your Windows Mobile device: m.facebook.com via Pocket IE, iphone.facebook.com via Opera Mobile 9.5, and finally Xperia X1’s Facebook Panel.
Personally, I just run the full Facebook page via Skyfire. How do you use Facebook on your WinMo phone?
