Wonder what it’s like to buy something from the Microsoft Marketplace for Mobile? Well, wonder no longer! This video walk-through shows the whole process, including the various ways in which you can pay for your apps and such.
It looks like there are 4 ways to pay:
- Pay with your Live ID: Associate a credit card with your Live ID for quick and easy checkout.
- Pay with your phone: Link your Marketplace for Mobile account with your carrier’s phone billing system and your applications purchases will be billed to you with your phone bill. This might not be worked out with all carriers everywhere just yet.
- Pre-pay and set your own limits: If you don’t want to run up your credit card or phone bill, or are giving a Windows phone away to a minor, you can set up a pre-paid account with a set amount.
- Pay with PayPal: Whether you’re paranoid with Microsoft having your credit information or just don’t want to deal with credit cards, Microsoft is allowing users to pay with PayPal–a nice move.
