HTC has made 80% of Windows Mobile phones

Okay, maybe you’re new to this – I’ll go easy on you. AppleInsider reported yesterday that HTC is responsible for 80% of the WinMo phones out there. 80%!
While playing up the fact that 50 phone makers around the world have licensed the company’s Windows Mobile platform, Microsoft inadvertently let it slip out that a full 80% of all Windows Mobile phones ever made have actually come from a single maker: HTC.

HTC of course – though my 1930 (Nextel) was Moto, and my VX-6600 was Audiovox, I’ve since had the PPC-6700, the Mogul (PPC-6800) and now I use the Touch Pro (PPC-6850)
Well my iPAQs were made by HTC, So was my Cingular 8125, my Cingular 8525, my AT&T Tilt and my Fuze.
samsung made my phone. they also made my air conditioner.
