GPS, Accelerometer, HD screen, 4G capability, snapdragon processor, microsdhc card slot.

  2. I would like my windows mobile os to better intragation with the gps… Definently a better app store as well

  3. Daniel says:

Web browser with flash. I could live without a headphone port.

  4. Greg Robinson says:

    Voice Recognition SDK

  5. AlanJC says:

I simply want a connected device!
I love 3g data so I can get my email, and social feeds, but it’s really nice having something geared towards connectivity in general. Like a web OS in my pocket, rather than loads of little client apps I need to do everything I want.

People have come close, but nobody has nailed it yet.

  6. Dylan McNeill says:

I want to be able to VIEW my netflix movies
I want access to all possible adobe flash plugins
must be able to use Citrix, easily
I want it to replace my laptop
I want IE Mobile to support Active X controls
I want it to be able to support Microsoft Installer technologies (MSI installs)
I want touchscreen (multiple points) , similar to IPhone, although my 3D TouchFlo works pretty well on my HTC Touch Pro
I want RDP to my phone for remote support of my windows mobile users
New features like My Phone to be pushed via Windows Mobile Updates

  7. Jason Seitz says:

I really want to be able to syn with multiple exchange servers.. it looks like syncing text messages is cool but if i could send them from the website through my phone that would be a plus :)

  8. Curtis says:

To be honest, It seems i never have my earphones or sync cable when I’m out and about would be nice to have a small storage are built in to house these, could make a combo cable. I know the quest is to make the phones smaller and smaller, and i’m prety sure storage space is at the very bottom…but you asked…

  9. Jeff says:

I want a touch screen with hardware keyboard, configurable interface (xml/asp?) bluetooth, 5mp camera, API availability and GPS. Other than that, I’m good!

  10. Ken says:

I would love to see fingerprint scanner included rather than pin code and anything that beats apple

  11. Jan Thewes says:

In a phone I need all my music. The ability to organize my media (photos, music, video) and a way to get to the media easily.
Another thing is backup and synching. It would be great to decide which files I need on my phone while sitting in front of my PC and when I’m out in the city all the selected files are on my phone!
A great browser is important too. While out in the city I want to look which movie the cinema is showing tonight.
A shiny, easy to use, finger friendly GUI would be awesome.

I don’t need conference calls because I havn’t ever tried one. It’s too expensive! I don’t really use Bluetooth too, it’s too buggy in my opinion…

  12. Hello! I would like to have in phone battery that would be able to let me watch movies whole time on way to usa :) and last like 14 days of use or so :) also ultimate sync between phonea winmo, iphone and so would be great and best feature would be ability to videocalls from mobile to desktop pc and so. thank you for nice competition also :) have nice time!

  13. andrea says:

A “real life” web browser on a large screen, touch interface, and a fast processor – did I mention fast data connection and the possibility to reach and use the same files I work on in my laptop?

  14. MrSmersh says:

    -phone,sms :)
    -mail
    -web
    -photo
-open to install apps, and apps ther to choose from
Nice to have, access to a display and a real yeasy keyboard input (a real one more or less)
    A notch depeer graphic dept.

  15. Ed says:

In a phone I want video-conferencing, integrated e-mail in-box whereby a single click synchronizes all the accounts. Good gaming options, preferably multiplayer. A feature that I would like to see but don’t know if is possible is an optically controlled navigation system, where the front facing camera tracks your eye ball movements and in result projects a mouse on the screen and your eye blinks control clicks.

  16. Paul Lauricella says:

I want my phone to tell me who’s calling with a voice. Also it would be cool if it could be used as a universal remote.

  17. John says:

I realize phones are taking over! They have semi-replaced cameras. They have already replaced PDAs. Now they are aiming for Laptops. I would want a phone with a pretty good camera and multimedia capabilities.

  18. Kevin says:

I want my phone to hae the ability to do EVERYTHING that I want it to do. No limits.

  19. knaak says:

What would be supercool is an integration between all live services. Meaning that skybox, windows live mail, office live. etc. could all synchronize with myphone!

  20. Geoff MacCombe says:

What’s not to want?? seemless conectivity, email, messaging, contact management (something WM 2003 did very well), good fast browsing (web), app intergration with desktop/mobile, media (all types), and of course some fun stuff for the off times.

  21. Tyler H. says:

The thing that I would like in a phone would be a turn by turn GPS, figure print for top security, maybe a laser pointer for presentation. The thing that I don’t like is about the new touch screen phones is that you can’t text on them. So if you’re going to make a built in keyboard don’t make it so when you put it in a holster it dials number.

  22. Johan Gustavsson says:

I really like my Sony Ericsson (HTC) Xperia X1 phone, It’s got everything I need, except maybe a g-sensor, so it would be able to flip the screen, without me having to extract the keyboard…

  23. Robert Simon says:

Convergence of WinMo SmartPhone and PocketPC
Better one hand operation of devices
    Better performance of WinMo
Better contacts search on mobile Outlook
    Email search in mobile Outlook

  24. TK says:

    Coool future: internet radio alarm
    Live wout: IE6

  25. John Barron says:

I would LOVE to have a better dialer included with Windows Mobile phones. I’ve used them for years and have always found the dialer to be lacking. Considering it’s a phone you’d think it would be better.

  26. Mark says:

What i would want is proper 3d acceleration

  27. Eric says:

As a programmer and a consumer, the most important thing about a mobile phone is that the phone can be easily developed for. The phone’s operating offers a platform for applications to be run on, but independent developers are what makes a phone great by adding so many applications that your phone can do it all.

If the phone offers a good API, there’s no limit to your phone’s capabilities. If the user interface is bad, someone will develop a good one. If something is lacking, it will soon be made.

As for built-in functionality… well… current phones seem to have a pretty good idea of what I want. Large touch screen, built-in keyboard, and a ton of extras. Oh… and a standard headphone jack would be nice — I’m looking at you, HTC. :-P

  28. Gatlyn says:

I’m really excited about the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, because it looks like it’s going to be very organized and has a clean interface. I think eventually phones in the future will replace portable game systems like the PSP and Nintendo DS, because they’re getting constantly better graphics and faster processors. What I’d like to see is the mini-projectors!

    (Promo code, please! :))

  29. Shawn Harvey says:

Visual Voicemail is one sweet feature….
    Accelerometer is sweet too!

  30. I would like to see yes hd video play back useing an nvidia gpu, as you can get 16 gb expansion cards in microsd, ide like to see the internal memory boosted beond 100 gigs, and external memory maxed up to 64 gb or more. this way the phone would be a more of a media device which sycns over a internet to your mediacenter computer at home so you can access your pictures and video and movies. just click and stream your favorite tv recording by useing silverlite mobile version. did i forget to say wifi “N”. I would also like to see better gps with stronger li bateries, as curently my p4000 burns out fast on gps. better voice abilities, sterio speakers built in for your music, and a 8 megapixl camera, ide like to see 1ghz cpu with at least 512 megs of ram. that way there is never lag on your phone as it loads anything. And water proffing.as we all know we drop are phones in water. mine did. still works luckly. :D that is the phone I want. Oh and a mesh app that works with your sd card better and actualy transfers files to your sd.

  31. mike borody says:

I want High capacity storage. 100 gigs internal memory + up to 64 gigs + external memory
Access to media center on your mobile. I want streaming video from your home computer.
    i want nvidia 3d acceleration
    i want wirless N support
i want a mesh system that works. and a live system that syncs live calander with mobile calander

    i want an awsome phone

  32. Curtis says:

A standard 3.5mm head phone jack, enough of the proprietary connections, and needing adapters.

  33. Do Rubin says:

vga, movies download, tv, skype, itunes uploads, sync with mac, GPS, Accelerometer, HD screen, 16G capability,
