Semi-related, I started to do tweaks on my new Fuze and I found that, surprise, I don’t need to do the registry edit to disable the SMS sent notification with WinMo 6.1. Happy Day.
Man, that sent notification is the most obnoxious thing ever, isn’t it? Why would they even put that in in the first place? Who wants that?
That notification is built-in obsolescence. It rates up there with the Cingular 8525 that shipped with a non-functional PTT button that did not have an option to re-map it.
For some smartphone fixes there’s 3rd party software. For everything else, there’s XDA-Developers.
